Hi! My name is Jackie Wilterding, and I’m from Kearney, Nebraska. I go to the University of Nebraska Kearney, where I’m studying multimedia with an emphasis in advertising and public relations.

I grew up in a Christian home as a pastor’s kid so I was always around church, youth group, bible studies, and all the typical “church kid” things. I always believed in God and called myself a Christian, but for a long time I was mostly just going through the motions and doing the right things for the wrong reasons. As I got older, I realized I wanted Jesus to truly be a part of every area of my life and wanted to fully surrender everything to Him. Over the past few years my faith has grown a lot and God has changed my heart in so many ways. Getting involved in a college ministry and surrounding myself with a strong community of believers has helped me understand what it really looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life and not just say I’m a Christian because I grew up around it. God has taught me so much about living for Him, trusting Him, and finding my identity in Him instead of the world.

In my free time I’m usually out grabbing coffee, going on walks, or finding something random to do. I’m really into pickleball and love hanging out with friends and family. I enjoy being outside doing something fun and just always down for a good time!!
